Fundraising
Income received from our fees and fundraising events is critical to on-going operation of Growing Places (building maintenance and utilities, advertising, newsletters, postage, supplies, etc.). Because fundraising generally evokes a sense of dread and dismay, we choose our events carefully to reflect the mission and philosophy of Growing Places.
- Square 1 Artreproduces artwork, offering a wide variety of products made available in time for the December holidays. These make a perfect gift for children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, friends, teachers, and any of a multitude of others! A two-inch magnet with your artwork is returned for you to keep, whether or not you decide to order anything else. Assistance is needed with projects and orders.
- Calendars
displaying our student's artwork, family fun and parenting tips, and our events throughout the year are wonderfully unique. You don't see anything like this on the calendar racks! We seek sponsors in this project. - Seeded Mats:
Just unroll, water and watch your garden spring forth! Sales begin in April in honor of Earth Day. - Pave the Garden Pathallows you to set your child's/family/business name in stone as it enhances our garden with a brick path that will meander it's way through its nooks and crannies. It is not too late to dedicate a brick to someone you love. Please inquire.
